LEÑA AT PIZZERIA INTRODUCES NEW MENU SHAPED BY FIRE AND FLAVOUR

LEÑA at Pizzeria, the evening dining concept at Hard Rock Hotel Penang, introduces a refreshed menu bringing together a range of culinary influences, with fire and sharing
at the heart of the dining experience.

First introduced in September 2022, LEÑA takes its name from the Spanish word for firewood. The menu draws inspiration from Spain, France, Italy and the Middle East, offering different culinary experiences expressed through its wood-fired oven and rotisserie.

Behind the menu is Rodrigo Benedicto, Director of Food & Beverage at Hard Rock Hotel Penang along with his team. Originally from Spain, Rodrigo began his culinary career in his home country before taking his experience internationally across Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Maldives and Dubai. His exposure to different cultures has led to an approach that keeps the focus and technique on the flavours around the shared table.

“Each new LEÑA menu further the crafts and enhances the authentic Mediterranean family dining experience we strive to create,” said Michael Smeeton, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Penang.

“With this latest menu, we wanted to reflect Rodrigo’s Spanish culinary heritage while creating a dining experience that surprises guests with new flavours and encourages them to come together around the table. Whether joining us for our Saturday Golden Hour Grill buffet or exploring the rich à la carte offerings, we continue to see that LEÑA creates memorable moments that our guests return to time and again.”

With sunset views providing the backdrop to dinner, LEÑA at Pizzeria offers a relaxed evening welcoming both hotel guests and walk-in diners.
